IFA DAY – 20 May 2012

The Wartburg Trabant IFA Club invites fellow owners of Cold War vintage vehicles to attend IFA Day 2012.

This year the venue is the excellent Transport Museum at Wythall situated just to the south of Birmingham in north Worcestershire, only a few minutes from junction 3 of the M42.

As usual, vehicles produced behind the Iron Curtain and of Cold War vintage are encouraged to come along to this exciting new venue for IFA Day.

Vehicles will be displayed within the museum.  The £3 admission fee is expected to include a short bus rides around the local area.  It is also hoped to include a circular "cruise" for Cold War vehicles based on one of the museum bus routes.

The museum website http://www.bammot.org.uk/  gives full details of the many attractions, including accommodation if staying over.  Refreshments are available on site and there’s plenty of covered exhibition space should the weather turn damp!

NB:  IFA Day is for vehicles designed / built during the Cold War.  Anyone wishing to turn up in a modern vehicle not of Cold War inheritance is welcome but the vehicle will not be permitted to enter and display within the museum.  Normal admission prices will apply.
